Children and Parents/Guardians Services
The curriculum-based program is designed to win our children back from violence by restoring a safe haven in schools for our children, parents, teachers and communities. The program is structured such that emotionally and socially healthy citizens are the result of active participation in this program. The assembled components will enable children and their parents/guardians to:
The program construct is designed to support children from ages 8-18 using a three-pronged approach to garner principles and resources which promote health and wellbeing for these children. The areas of health development are physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. Licensed and certified practitioners in the fields of counseling and education are key associates in securing the outcomes for these goals.
The program consists of an annual rotation. Preliminary work for the program year begins in March each year. Participants’ active participation in the program’s educational regimen is from June of the program year through May of the following year. - Resolve problems without violence
- Bounce back after difficult situations (build resiliency)
- Recognize the collective and individual worth of self and one’s fellow human being

- Volunteers will be given the opportunity to participate in the program
- Authorized school system personnel will be given the participation packets for dissemination to parents/guardians and students
- Final selection of volunteers

Summer Training for Families (June – July)
- Tuesday-Wednesday 8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. (children)
- Transportation provided for all participants as needed/desired
- Parent evening training once per week
School Year 2023-2024 (August – May)
- Educational sessions for children 1-2 hours twice per week
- Transportation provided for all participants as needed/desired
- Parents evening session (once per week)
