Program Overview
The Academics, Arts & Athletics program is a five-day camp in which the participants will be housed at Alabama State University during the dates of July 14-18, 2019. Participants will receive student-centered instruction with regard to civics, language, STEM, dance, music, and co-ed sports. The program will closeout with a live performance where the participants will showcase the learning outcomes. The age group of the participants is between 8-18 and the maximum number of participants for this program is 70. This is a free camp.
Notes
Participants in the music component are required to know how to read sheet music. The performance band will consist of woodwind, brass, percussion and possibly strings.
Participants in the dance component are not required to have formal or previous dance experience.
